Otley Men's Group is a peer support group based in Otley, West Yorkshire, providing a safe and supportive environment for men experiencing poor mental health or loneliness.
We have no religious, political or commercial affiliations and welcome people of all faiths (or none) and from all parts of society, read about us on this site, find us on Facebook, then come and meet us to connect, share, support and grow together.
Otley Men's Group (OMG) meets every Tuesday night from 7-9pm, kettles always on and there is no pressure, you can say as much or as little as you want in a safe and supportive environment.
At OMG you will meet men just like yourself, we have attendees that are manual workers, professionals, ex-military, retired policemen, motorcyclists, martial artists, husbands, fathers and everyone in between. We meet to talk and provide mutual support.
What can you expect at your first OMG meeting? … you can expect a hot drink and biscuits, and a supportive collection of men who have all decided to support and get support from other men
Not everyone who comes to OMG is at a point of crisis… The group has members who are in difficult situations and men who have come through difficult issues, who still come to offer support and friendship to any who needs it.
OMG arrange monthly social gatherings and events - loneliness can be a massive factor in our Mental Health, have a look at the Events page for details of upcoming and past events.
OMG is a community of friends, we have a Facebook page plus WhatsApp groups covering support requests, peer support chat and also a "Banter" site for the the lighter side of life.
Our website contains a vast database of support organisations, not just for men but for all genders, covering many areas, Including;
Crisis Support, Mental Health and Employment, Eating Disorders, Self harm, Psychosis, Anxiety, Mental Health, Military & Veterans, Immigration & Asylum, Prison, Pregnancy, Missing Persons, LGBTQIA+, Housing & Homelessness, Gender Identity, Family & Parental, Abuse Support (Sexual, DV & Child), Discrimination, Crime, Disability, Bereavement, Autism & ADHD and Substance Misuse & Addiction.

Otley Men's Group is a support network for men experiencing poor mental health or loneliness. We focus on creating a community that fosters connection and understanding.
OMG provide a safe forum to share your problems and issues in a respectful and listening environment.
OMG has few rules governing discussion, other than be respectful, listen carefully and always maintain complete confidentiality on what is discussed.
Many men are reserved and don’t talk much about their feelings … and this leads to isolation, depression and poor Mental Health – break the isolation cycle, come and learn to talk about your feelings, challenges and problems with other men in a safe and supportive environment – that is what OMG do….
We meet a 7pm till 9pm Tuesdays
