Otley Men’s Group are a volunteer group providing support to local men who may be experiencing poor mental health or loneliness.

There is no charge to attend out meetings and everything is confidential.

The kettles always on and there is no pressure, you can say as much or as little as you want in a safe and supportive environment.

At OMG you will meet men just like yourself, we have attendees that are manual workers, professionals, ex-military, retired policemen, motorcyclists, martial artists, husbands, fathers and everyone in between. We meet to talk and provide mutual peer support.

What can you expect at your first OMG Meeting? … you can expect a hot drink and biscuits, and a supportive collection of men who have all decided to support and get supported by other men who have experienced similar issues

Trees bend in a storm… right up to the point they break… not talking about your problems, challenges and poor mental health can lead to anxiety, depression, even anger, and for far too many, suicidal thoughts.

OMG is a safe place where you can unload and talk to other men, just like you, who have similar experiences. Come down and see us, you dont have to say anything, just observe if you like and see men supporting men in action.

One of the common statements we hear from the group is “this has done me so much good” … the old saying that a problem shared is a problem halved is true.
